This Fiery Throated Hummingbird was painted in a little more than 2 days, again layering paints over one another and learning a bit about how Aquabords work. ‘Adagio’ is a 36 inch by 24 inch heavy body acrylic painting on stretched linen. This was a challenge piece that my sweet Mother-in-Law gave me, it took roughly two weeks to “perfect”. We named it ‘Adagio’ because it moves and ballet was one of the first dance classes I took.
