Adagio

‘Adagio’ is a 36 inch by 24 inch heavy body acrylic painting on stretched linen. This was a challenge piece that my sweet Mother-in-Law gave me, it took roughly two weeks to “perfect”. We named it ‘Adagio’ because it moves and ballet was one of the first dance classes I took. This rose is very reminiscent of Ecuadorian roses and a rose grower actually counted the petals and told me that it is spot on.

My Mother-in-law really enjoys the level of detail and the way it ‘dances’.

Adagio is a succession of slow, soft , lyrical and continuous ballet movements. The name was chosen because of the way this painting dances.

This painting has been appraised by two sources independent of each other as being a work is worth $4,000.00.
